Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High School diploma, required Two (2) year Associate degree or three (3) years equivalent education or work experience in an Information Technology healthcare area Related college coursework may substitute for some of the experience listed above Strong technical understanding of enterprise networking, distributed computing (LAN administration and PC systems), and intranet/internet technology Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills are required Excellent communication and customer service skills Conflict Management skills Demonstrate teamwork skills Ability to work flexible hours and schedules, work under pressure, and multi-task Time Management and proper follow-up skills Base knowledge of current PC software packages and systems: Microsoft Office suites, Invision, and Kronos. NT Server, Server 2000, Server 2003 E-Mail System, Exchange, GroupWise, or Lotus Notes Experience and/or certification(s) in Microsoft desktop operating systems 95/98/NT/2000/XP, help desk, or project tracking tools, and/or web-based documentation tools is a significant plus Base knowledge of Call Pilot phone system, exposure to a paging system Required Length and Type of Experience Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in an Information Systems environment to include extensive hands-on support of a mid-size (100-700-node) network.
