The APE Teacher collaborates with students, families, educators, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to promote access to physical education, motor skill development, physical fitness, and participation in age-appropriate physical activities within home and community environments. Services are provided in accordance with students'' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and may include evaluations, direct services, consultation, records reviews, and participation in special education processes.
