p>The duties include but are not limited to: ASSIST RESEARCH: Assist research involving transgenic mouse models to study Alzheimers disease, neuropsychiatric conditions, and microbiome interactions (e.g., feeding special diets, administrating pharmacological drugs to mice; weighting mice; animal behavior tests) Collect specimens (e.g., brain, fecal samples) and maintain the organized sample collection and processing logs.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization supplemented by two years of college level work in the physical and/or biological sciences, and considerable experience in performing diagnostic laboratory tests and examinations in the specialized area assigned to work.
