Position Summary: Under the direction of the Superintendent of Recreation & Revenue Facilities, the Athletics Intern is responsible for assisting with the supervision, management, and development, of all athletic and team training programs, adult sports leagues, recreational youth sports programs, open gym, and field use scheduling. Employee must have the physical agility to maintain mobility from site to site, and will be involved in prolonged typing, lifting, stooping, bending, twisting, climbing, sitting, walking, reaching, handling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs (a thorough pre-employment physical examination will be required after conditional job offer).
