Experience in planning with a background in transportation highly preferred, including familiarity with open and closed-loop transportation systems and optimizing for efficiency across real-world variables such as customers, assets, traffic, and the built environment. Proficiency with transportation-specific tools and technologies, including GIS tools and datasets, GTFS datasets, CAD/AVL systems, and schedule optimization software such as HASTUS, OptiBus, or Remix.
