The Board Unit coordinates with the Enterprise Board of Directors and Air Pollution Control Division programs (particularly the Technical Services Program, the Air Toxics and Ozone Precursor Section, the Mobile Source Program, and Administrative Services Program) to provide subject matter expertise to the enterprise boards and is responsible for implementing the strategy, systems, processes, and guidelines needed to execute the board's business. The environmental programs administer and enforce laws and regulations regulating air, water, and land pollution; administer authorities delegated by the EPA, including the Clean Air Act, Clear Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; and administer state statutes including solid waste management, recycling, and environmental cleanup.
