Requires ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in English with CP Department Director, Clinical Educator, Managers, Administrative Coordinator, and other staff, as well as with MDs, Charge Nurses, Supply Chain staff, including outside vendors, and members of other BMC clinical and support departments as necessary, in order to accomplish CP Department tasks. Requires certification as a Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) by the International Association for Central Sterile Healthcare Materiel Management (IAHCSMM), or, as a Central Sterile Professional Department Technician (CSPDT) by the American Society of Healthcare Central Sterile Professionals (ASHCSP).
