Applicants are required to provide a statement addressing the following: (1) prior experience supporting undergraduate mathematics students in mathematics through instruction, tutoring, mentoring, or related roles; (2) interest in contributing to general education; and (3) relevant preparation, including coursework and skills in mathematics, statistics, computing, and/or mathematics education, as well as any specialized training, research experience, or coursework in actuarial science, statistics, biomathematics, pure and applied mathematics, mathematics education, or related fields. Mathematics Graduate teaching assistants are generally assigned to individual faculty members to assist with or provide course instruction.
