A member of the Association of Schools of Public Health, the School of Public Health (SPH) has nearly 600 students, 156 full-time faculty members and more than 500 staff members, SPH is located in the heart of Pittsburgh's healthcare district and in close proximity to the University of Pittsburgh's other five health sciences schools and the main Pittsburgh campus. Faculty lead or collaborate with research centers across the University, including the Medicaid Research Center, Center for Women's Health Research and Innovation, Health Policy Institute, Hillman Cancer Center, Center for Bioethics and Health Law, Center for Research on HealthCare, and Center for Pharmaceutical Prescribing and Policy.
