What you'll do on a typical day: Operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materialsUse a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracyLoad and unload trailers as requiredAdhere to the 7S program and always maintain a clean environmentDemonstrate a commitment to process excellenceDemonstrate an understanding of the company quality policyPerform inbound receiving process What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need:1 year of warehouse experienceTrained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucksAvailability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed It'd be great if you also have: High school diploma or equivalentA positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environmentAbility to communicate well with leadership and peers This job requires the ability to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 lbs.
