Key responsibilities include conducting construction inspections, designing and drafting highway construction plans, performing topographical and construction surveys, and testing materials used in highway and bridge construction. Inspection and surveying equipment may include but is not limited to digital camera, tape measure, hammer, chisels, boom truck and other machinery, electronic drafting equipment, material testing equipment, power and hand tools, and personal protective equipment.
