Assist with inpatient consults, discuss external hospital transfers with Attendings, floor work; assist with any emergency patient related concerns on the service; admission H&P; initial orders, post-op orders; post-op checks; order and follow-up on diagnostic testing; invasive consents; overall assessment, triage and therapeutic management of the patient; manage treatment plans with the in-house residents/Attendings, etc.) Assist with bedside procedures (ABG, Labs, possible IV placement, NGT placement, vac changes, etc.).
