Three (3) years of related and increasingly responsible experience in construction, maintenance, or repairs of roadways, bridges, and operating heavy and light construction equipment; Or any combination of education and experience has been achieved and is equivalent to the stated education and experience and required knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to perform the duties and responsibilities of this job successfully. Operates other heavy and light equipment, including rough dozer, rotary broom, chip spreader, rough carpenter, vibrating and steel wheel rollers, backhoe, fencing erector, road sweeper, concrete finisher, and other equipment used in the construction and repair of county roads.
