We focus on experiential learning with opportunities for faculty-industry collaboration via the college's Applied Computing Institute, our Institute for Cybersecurity Education and Research, as well as the Artificial Intelligence Research and Innovation Institute, the West Michigan Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence Consortium, and newly established GVSU Hub on Advanced Computing Research. While all areas of Computer Science or closely related areas are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates with a teaching and/or research background in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Data Science, Quantum Computing, and Human-Centered Computing/Design to fill the position.
