16) Performs various vision tests and procedures for angle depth and AC clarity, corneal integrity, visual acuity, refractive error, color vision, central macula function, depth perception, corrective lens measurement, corneal surface curvature measurement, peripheral vision, pupillary response, basic ocular muscle evaluation, intraocular pressure. Experience: Licensure, Certification, Registration: None required; however, recommend completion of ophthalmic scribe course, ophthalmic assistant certification or ophthalmic technician certification through the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology, graduate of accredited optometric school or foreign graduate of medical school.
