li>Administer topical and oral medications to patients to aid in the diagnosis of vision problems and prescribe medications to treat diseases of the eye, eyelids and adnexa, as permitted by the State of NH Optometry Practice Act; Test visual acuity, depth and color perception, and ability to focus and coordinate. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating vision and eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses and medications, developing treatment plans, and referring patients for specialized care as needed.
