This role provides high-level expertise in school finance policy, data management, revenue forecasting, and property tax administration, supporting the Department's mission to deliver reliable funding systems that sustain Minnesota's public schools. The Assistant Director oversees the Student Accounting and General Education Funding Sections, ensuring that all education finance research, analysis, student accounting processes, and state aid/levy calculations are performed accurately, consistently, and in compliance with state and federal laws.
