Join Our Dynamic Medical/Surgical Team in Nashville, TN!** **Job Description:** - Position: Travel RN - Medical Surgical/Neuro - Location: Nashville, TN - Unit: 3rd, Neuro Med/Surg - Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **Unit Specifics:** - Number of Beds: 20 - Patient Ratios: 6:1 - Staffing: - Tech support available on both day and night shifts - Unit secretary from 7 AM to 7 PM - Equipment: - IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD’s, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines - Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner - iMobile communication technology - Documentation System: Meditech - Scheduling: - 3 twelve-hour shifts per week - 2 weekends (4 shifts) every 4-week schedule - Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first, followed by rotation among staff - Patient Experience: - Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families - Engage in bedside shift reporting - Form personal connections with patients and include them in their care plan **Hospital Specifics:** - Certifications: - Comprehensive Stroke Center - ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center - Certified Chest Pain Center **Hiring Profile:** - Requested Skill Set: - Med/Surg experience - Ability to prioritize care and multitask - Skills in starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes - Must Have: - Active RN license - BLS certification **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) **Additional Information:** - Join a team that values passion for patient care and teamwork.
