The incumbent will maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees, physicians, patients, visitors, and contractors/vendors on VCH property by being prepared for emergency situations and responding to all incidents and emergency situations properly applying the use of force policy along with other deescalation techniques. Provides relief dispatch coverage, including the effective operation of video surveillance equipment to aid in the protection of VCH property and assets, ensures the safety and visitor entry of the Emergency Department at all times, and detects and reports the existence of safety hazards.
