Responsibilities:
Hamilton Company is looking for Packaging Operator who will work in our clean room environment in the Injection Molding Production area. As a Packaging Operator they may operate a forklift or pallet jack (manual or electric). They will be required to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within all aspects of the department. The Packaging Operator will be required to pull orders accurately and quickly.  This position is scheduled for the swing shift, swing shift hours are 3:30pm - 12:00am.<ul><li>Assist with transporting equipment or materials to their appropriate destination</li><li>Loading and unloading pallets and units (boxes, bags, cases, gaylords, etc.) of components</li><li>Maintain count integrity of components and products in various locations</li><li>Coordinate activity of Material Handlers with Cleanroom material consumption to insure timely delivery of parts from the warehouse to the production facility</li><li>Maintain a neat and organized pack-out area utilizing space efficiently</li><li>Assemble and test product in accordance with written assembly procedures, Bills of Materials, QC criteria, and/or other instructions</li><li>Set up and operate fixtures, tooling, and the various assembly machines and aids in the CT area</li><li>Use common test equipment, including calipers and specific product testers</li><li>Assist in training of other department personnel</li><li>Ability to work with/in other departments as needed</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li style="color:black">Proficient with the use of common hand tools</li><li style="color:black">Must possess good oral and written communication skills</li><li style="color:black">Must have ability to work with other people in a manufacturing environment</li><li style="color:black">Ability to work with computers and various electronic tools</li><li style="color:black">Good eye/hand coordination and strong attention to detail are required.</li><li style="color:black">Working knowledge of parts flow and material handling procedures</li><li style="color:black">Must be able to occasionally perform sedentary work involving sitting for extended periods of time</li><li style="color:black">Required to exert up to 40 pounds of force frequently or constant lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or other means needed to move materials</li></ul>

Education/Experience:
<ul><li>Must have High School diploma or GED</li><li>One plus years minimum experience in the assembly and testing of small mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies a plus, but not required</li><li style="color:black">Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred</li></ul>

You will be responsible for verifying, packaging, labeling, and tracking shipments with precision — supporting both our production teams and customers by maintaining accuracy and timeliness in every transaction. Prepare and package finished PCB assemblies and components for shipment per customer or internal requirements (ESD-safe handling, labeling, and documentation).

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for verifying, packaging, labeling, and tracking shipments with precision — supporting both our production teams and customers by maintaining accuracy and timeliness in every transaction.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Receive incoming materials, components, and finished goods; verify quantities and part numbers against packing lists and purchase orders.</li><li>Inspect incoming materials for visible damage or discrepancies; escalate issues to Materials or Quality teams as needed.</li><li>Accurately log receipts into the ERP/MRP system and deliver materials to appropriate departments.</li><li>Prepare and package finished PCB assemblies and components for shipment per customer or internal requirements (ESD-safe handling, labeling, and documentation).</li><li>Generate shipping labels and documentation using FedEx, UPS, and customer-specified portals.</li><li>Schedule carrier pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring materials are properly identified and stored.</li><li>Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and material movement transactions as needed.</li><li>Coordinate with production control, purchasing, and quality to resolve shipping/receiving issues quickly and accurately.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.</li><li>1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment).</li><li>Familiarity with ESD handling, barcoding, and labeling standards for electronic assemblies.</li><li>Experience using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or similar platforms.</li><li>Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email) and ERP systems (experience with manufacturing software a plus).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.</li></ul>
