Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience, including 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience in a Level I Trauma Center; intensive care or critical care experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; experience with electronic medical record charting using Epic; proficiency in dysrhythmia recognition and management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining intravenous lines, intravenous vasopressors, intracranial pressure monitoring, care of ventilated patients, drains, mechanical ventilation, recovery from general anesthesia, transfusions, invasive monitoring, and preoperative assessment. Patient care includes postoperative recovery for neurosurgery, ear, nose and throat, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, gynecologic, urologic, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant procedures.
