Maintain familiarity with ambulance operations including but not limited to: vehicle security features, operation of emergency lighting, operation of siren, operation of mobile and portable radio, installation and operation of on-board oxygen system, operation of on-board suction unit, operation of on-board fire extinguishers, operation of stretcher and loading system (if applicable), and operation of UV decontamination system (if applicable). The Paramedic will maintain clinical competence for patients across the age continuum and work in unison with a variety of care practitioners, including, but not limited to: Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Nurses, Physicians and a variety of outside hospital staff, to provide exceptional care.
