Day.*This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus!Aspirus MedEvac in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC to join our crew!The Paramedic is responsible for providing safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages. Care is provided in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports by understanding and applying the specialized principles and techniques of transport practice, emergency procedures and diagnostics.HOURS: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 24-hr shifts.Experience/QualificationsKnowledge of emergency patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an accredited Paramedic program.Active Paramedic license/certification in the State of Wisconsin and Michigan or will obtain dual license within 120 days of hire.Current BLS certification.ACLS certification.State of Wisconsin Critical Care Endorsement recommended within one year of hire or upon course availability and to transition into Critical Care Paramedic role.Possesses a valid Driver's license in the State of residency.Current Paramedic National Registry licensure preferred.Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operating Certification (EVOC) or training.Employee BenefitsFull benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.PTO accrual from day one!Generous retirement plan with match available.Wellness program for employees and their families.Aspirus MedEvac medical transportation service provides 24-hour emergency air and ground medical transport for critically ill and injured individuals of North Central Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
