Responsibilities:
The Perioperative Unit Clerk works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Director/Charge Nurse in performing clerical, receptionist, communication and patient care duties (when appropriate) as directed. The Unit Clerk provides cross campus coverage including SDS, PST, and Endoscopy units throughout the perioperative service line. The Unit Clerk maintains patient records as a medical-legal document according to Garnet Health Medical Center policy and procedures.  Assists in organizing and communicating inter and intra-departmentally to achieve optimum patient satisfaction.  Maintains an orderly, equipped and supplied Nursing Unit.  Provides “support” for the direct nursing care of the patient.  At Garnet Health, we are committed to supporting your career growth and professional potential. Qualifications:
