You will work with Medical Support Staff to ensure that the patient authorization system is accurate; facilitate timely approval of insurance authorizations (including DME and medications), consultations and referrals; generate treatment plans; follow up on phone calls and correspondence involving all insurances; communicate in a timely fashion with patients on the status and results of the authorization process; and promote a professional practice image by interacting well with staff members, patients and providers. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults.
