Under the overall supervision of the Chief or Unit Head of Information System and Digital Health Unit (IS) within the Department of Evidence and Intelligence for Action in Health (EIH), and the technical supervision of the responsible technical officer, experts selected from the roster may be requested to contribute to the following functions, according to their area of expertise: Contribute to the assessment and prioritization of health information and indicator needs, including review of existing indicator frameworks, national and international reporting requirements, policy priorities, data availability, reporting burden, and opportunities for harmonization and rationalization of indicator sets. Assess the availability, completeness, timeliness, consistency, validity, and comparability of data used to produce health indicators, including data derived from CRVS, routine health information systems, disease surveillance systems, administrative records, population estimates, and other relevant national and international sources.
