Through reflection leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, school-based speech-language pathologists provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech articulation, voice, and fluency. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to: lift and safely move 50 pounds; frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person; frequently squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, and repeat the same hand or finger motion.
