Prioritizes technical workload based on assignment or established priorities, responds effectively to changes in workflow adjusting work to incorporate STAT requests or fluctuations in work volume. A Histotechnologist performs routine histology procedures, in accordance with all department specific SOPs and guidelines, resulting in stained slides for microscopic review and diagnosis by the pathologist.¿
Work directly with patients on established goals and treatment plans. Develop therapy and treatment plans for speech disorders (SLPs only).
Essential Job Functions: Coordinates and manages the initiation and regulatory compliance of clinical research studies, including preparing all necessary documents for IRB and sponsor review, coordinating study conduct across departments, and securing required approvals. Manages participant engagement throughout clinical trials by identifying eligible subjects, conducting informed consent processes, coordinating reimbursement, verifying eligibility, and serving as the primary patient liaison for study-related inquiries and support.
li>Performs manual computer procedures for releasing orders, entering manual paper orders, canceling, and/or crediting tests ordered.

li>Assists with orientation and instruction of pathology residents and medical students in Surgical Pathology and Autopsy procedures to include specimen description, dissections, dictation techniques, basic specimen handling, and use of Anatomic Pathology equipment.
