Minimum Qualifications: Associate of Arts or Associate of Science (2-year) SLPA degree from a community college approved by the California state licensing board and 100 Clinical Clock hours, and a CA state license or a BA or BS in Communicative Disorders and 100 Clinical Clock hours, and a state license. Job Description: Under the direction and supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP), the SLPA assists and supports the provision of Speech-Language Therapy services to clients in a variety of healthcare settings, including but not limited to, home visits, public libraries, in-clinic, daycares, and schools.
