Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MICU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3 day shifts and 3 night shifts Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: 3 to 5 years in a Level I or II Trauma Center License: Required Licensure: RN License Certifications: TCAR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, AHA Stroke certification Must-Have: Competence in CRRT machine operation, vent/tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes, medication titration, and A-lines Description: Utilize the nursing process in the provision of direct patient care. Diagnose and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems through such services as case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive or restorative care.
