Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of nursing experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; competency in progressive care, medical-surgical telemetry, cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, emergency response, cardiac drips, intravenous insulin protocols, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, phlebotomy, feeding tube care, hemodialysis management, renal failure care, chest tube management, noninvasive ventilation, tracheostomy care, wound care, surgical drains, isolation precautions, and rapid response team utilization. Additional Information: The position supports a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 and may involve floating between medical-surgical, telemetry, and medical-intermediate units, as well as supporting emergency department patients awaiting inpatient placement.
