p>RWJBH is seeking a Unit Clerk for our Children's Oncology Unit at the Bristol Myers Squibb Children's Hospital on our New Brunswick campus, Job Overview:
Performs clerical and receptionist functions for the unit, in accordance with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital policies and procedures, answers inquiries of a general nature by nursing staff, physicians, patients and families, and carries out principles of positive guest relations.
Demonstrates the ability to perform clerical functions required on the nursing unit in accordance with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital policies and procedures by competently utilizing the TDS computer system for the following purposes: written order entry, report retrieval, census updates related to admissions, transfers and discharges, as well as documenting and updating patient allergies, conditions transport and diet.
