Collaborates with physicians, clinical providers, emergency departments, inpatient units, Administrators on Duty, environmental services, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to improve care transitions. Central Bed Management oversees the placement of inpatient and observation patients by reviewing admission/discharge/transfer (ADT) orders and bed requests in coordination with clinician assessments and triage.
