Intermediate Care is a 24 bed stepdown unit bridging the gap between the intensive care unit and general medical unit that has a patient population with various degrees of pulmonary, neurological, renal, geriatric, and infectious disease processes. The campus is also home to a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and to clinical centers of excellence in multiple specialties including cardiovascular, brain health and neurology, sports medicine and orthopaedics, transplantation and nephrology.
