Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; at least 2 years of stepdown nursing experience; prior travel nursing experience; proficiency with blood administration, skeletal and Bucks traction, drains, Jackson-Pratt (JP) drains, chest tube management, wound dressings, wound vacuum management, wound care, heparin infusions, high-flow oxygen, stable bilevel positive airway pressure, and tracheostomy care. Additional Information: Patient populations include postsurgical trauma, motor vehicle accident injuries, elective surgeries, Whipple procedures, cholecystectomies, gunshot wounds, blunt and penetrating trauma, assaults, all-terrain vehicle injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries requiring external fixation and pin-site care.
