Additional duties include reprocessing endoscopes, cleaning and stocking procedure rooms, maintaining inventory, assisting with equipment setup, documenting patient care activities, and collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other team members. The Surgical Technician assists with procedures and treatments, prepares and handles surgical instruments, collects and transports specimens, and performs cleaning and sterilization of instruments in accordance with hospital policies.
