The MHT provides treatment and therapeutic services as directed, observes, evaluates, documents and communicates patients’ behavior, reactions, appearance, progress and declining condition, assists in maintaining patients’ safety within the environment, participates in groups and program activities, assists patients with activities of daily living and responses to emergencies as appropriate. Physical strength and agility to assist with an agitated and disruptive patient; apply behavioral restraints in a quick and efficient manner; perform other routine physical functions of the job; and withstand unusual stress factors working closely with others.
