You should be comfortable with basic direct current electrical theory, 12 volt vehicle electrical systems, using a digital multimeter, reading simple wiring diagrams, proper wire stripping and termination, and troubleshooting instead of simply replacing parts until something works. A good candidate might have worked as an automotive electrical technician, mechanic, marine technician, RV technician, golf cart technician, powersports technician, electrical assembler, or industrial maintenance technician.
