Contract entry and billing discipline Revenue recognition timing Financial process training for operational teams Accounting policy enforcement Continuous improvement of finance workflows Qualifications: Demonstrated experience owning month-end close and financial statement preparation independently, not just reviewing others' work Hands-on experience with job costing, WIP, or percentage-of-completion accounting in a project-based industry (construction, remodeling, manufacturing, or similar) Direct experience managing or closely overseeing AP and/or AR functions Strong cash flow management skills — proven ability to build and maintain accurate short-term cash forecasts and manage timing across multiple, sometimes irregular payment sources Comfortable operating hands-on and transactionally — this is an execution seat, not a purely supervisory one Preferred Experience in residential construction, remodeling, home improvement, or light manufacturing Experience working alongside an outsourced or fractional accounting/CFO partner Experience with multi-entity or multi-profit-center accounting — allocating shared costs, tracking performance by brand/segment, and managing state-level compliance across multiple jurisdictions Familiarity with third-party financing program mechanics (retail/home-improvement lender funding, dealer fees, funding timing) is a plus, not required Desired Proficiency with QuickBooks or comparable accounting/ERP systems Strong Excel and financial modeling skills Process documentation and SOP-building instinct Experience directly managing AP/AR/Payroll staff (LMA) About Company At Omni Remodeling, we treat our employees like gold, so they treat our customers like diamonds.
