The pediatric PRN Staff Pharmacist is responsible for verifying medication orders, preparing and dispensing sterile and non-sterile pediatric products, and optimizing pharmacotherapy through medication reconciliation and clinical decision support across inpatient areas. Has the ability to determine the clinical appropriateness of each medication taken by the patient, determine the appropriateness of the dose, dosage form, indication, contraindications, potential adverse effects and potential problems with concomitant medications.
