The interdisciplinary pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), located in the Shawn Jenkin's Children Hospital, is a 28-bed, medical surgical unit staffed by board-certified intensivists, highly skilled and specially trained nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical pharmacists, dietitians, child life specialists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, case managers and social workers. Required Minimum Training: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN as noted below.
