Required Qualifications: 1 year of Pediatric Critical Care Unit (CICU) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience as staff nurse; 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU; 2 years minimum PICU experience; experience with caring for patients with congenital heart disease and post-operative management; experience with arterial lines, central lines, transthoracic lines; certifications including PALS, BLS, ACLS. Additional Information: Unit cares for ICU and step-down patients with staffing based on census and acuity; typical procedures include central line and arterial line placement, conscious sedation, intubation, post-op recovery, sternal closures, codes, ECMO cannulation, CRRT, and manual PDB.
