They operate sophisticated cardiac medical imaging and diagnostic equipment (single and bi-plane, fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, Ultrasound, Intravascular Ultrasound IVUS, echo, Intracardiac Echo (ICE), Radi-wires, and/or operate 3D mapping systems) and assist with device management in order to obtain optimum study quality and support interventional team needs. The Pediatric and Congenital Cardiovascular Technologist at Mary Bridge Children’s will provide technical expertise and patient care support in the pediatric cardiac catheterization lab, assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital or acquired heart disease.
