The SLP works with patients who have speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing disorders, as well as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, neurological conditions, and other diagnoses affecting communication and functional independence. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting patient progress, collaborating with families and interdisciplinary team members, and educating caregivers to support carryover of therapeutic goals in the home and community.
