The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work alongside and in collaboration with the general hepatology team of doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants and research coordinators to provide high quality care and management of new or established and returning patients. Counsels/educates patients and their care providers on acute/chronic disease management, disease prevention and health promotion, considering age, education, psychosocial needs, and cultural background to ensure safe, complete, & culturally competent care.
