Finally, Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Lehigh Valley Hospital- Hazleton, and Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono each received an 'A' grade on the Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group in 2020, the highest grade in patient safety. A mixed practice encompassing a roughly even split between pediatric cases and adult generalist/obstetric cases in our main operating rooms, labor and delivery suite, and non-operating room anesthesia (NORA) environment creates welcome and stimulating challenges to keep sharp the full breadth of anesthesiology skills and knowledge.
