p>Non-clinical academic and leadership responsibilities may include the following: • Working collaboratively with the division chief, appointed team members, and the Emory Palliative Care Center on trainee educational initiatives • Participation in scholarly endeavors relevant to the intersection of palliative care and other special interests that can be reasonably supported with time and resources currently available • Participation in service activities within the division, the Department of Pediatrics, and/or the Emory Palliative Care Center.
Program components include:
• Inpatient and telehealth pediatric palliative care services • A Fellowship program in partnership with The Emory Palliative Care Center • Clinical research initiatives • A growing bereavement program • Collaboration with oncology-based outpatient palliative care services and community hospice programs • Educational and advocacy partnerships with local and national organizations.
