Under the supervision of the Registered Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager, and Director of Pharmacy, and according to the established procedures of the pharmacy department, the pharmacy technician assists the pharmacists and other pharmacy personnel in all aspects of inpatient hospital pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to the preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications, performing related duties to maintain workflow such as charging medications, filling Pyxis MedStations, crediting and redistributing returns and assisting in the maintenance of inventory levels within the department.
