The Intake RN duties are (but not limited to) triaging patients, completion of assessments for assisting physician in identification of an appropriate level of care for potential patients, ability to staff clinical effectively, enter calls and admissions in computer and complete nursing admission paperwork with patient. Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Intake, the Intake RN is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry/referral calls, coordination of all admissions processes and serves as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, unit and hospital personnel involved with each admission.
