Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Med/Surg and Telemetry unit maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for patients with diagnoses including CHF, hypertension, chest pain work-ups, COPD exacerbations, asthma, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. Self-schedule a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule and fulfill holiday requirements in alignment with department staffing needs; float within designated zone as determined by unit needs.
